Man and Women Sitting and TalkingGetting to Know Participants & Families: Our Virtual Admissions Meet and Greet

Once we have completed an initial screening process and determined that our services may be well suited to meet a family’s needs, we begin an engagement process, with the prospective participant (and sometimes family members), known as our Meet and Greet. A representative member from nursing, admissions, and our clinical team are typically involved to answer questions and to deepen understanding of the prospective participant’s strengths, needs and goals. This helps individuals to be at ease while sharing personal, familial and treatment information, helps prospective families and participants assess if we are the best potential fit, creates a smoother transition on the day of admission, and helps build trust from day one. (In-person meet and greets remain available upon request.)
