Awake Overnight Residential Counselor (Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed)
WestBridge is a private non-profit dedicated to a new direction in the treatment of people with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. Our treatment model adheres to the evidence based practices developed at DartmouthPsychiatricResearchCenter. We use a multi-disciplinary team approach that provides flexible, mobile and responsive substance abuse and psychiatric care, in a fun environment. This team combines rehabilitation, and support to help individuals maximize their recovery, gain hope and empowerment, and become respected and valued members of their community.
WestBridge Community Services has one full-time opening for an Awake Overnight Residential Counselor in our adult, male residential program in Manchester, NH. This position would be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00pm – 8:00am. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a team-based work setting and who seeks a job requiring organization, creativity, and professionalism.
WestBridge staff members provide evidence-based intervention & support to participants. We utilize both a residential and community support model that provides individuals the opportunity to gain hope and build a life beyond illness. Our overnight staff provide supervision and monitoring, as well as light cleaning duties, which ensure a safe-homelike environment for our participants.
Requirements: High School Degree and experience in related field (Human Services, Social Work, Mental Health, Counseling) with experience working with individuals and families who experience co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders; Ability and enjoyment of cleaning, Ability to work a flexible schedule (10 PM to 8 AM, Sunday night, Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night); Valid driver’s license and transportation. Must be able to attend the staff meeting once per month (Wed afternoon from 1:30p to 2:30p) and a Quarterly All-Staff Meeting (10am to 3pm). The Ideal Candidate would also be a friendly, organized team player.
