The leading evidence-based practices we use here at WestBridge have a proven track record in successful long-term dual diagnosis treatment. The foundation of our practices were developed by the Center for Evidence-Based Practices at the Dartmouth Psychiatric Research Center.
This means that our therapies for mental illness and substance use disorders both complement and strengthen one another, and are proven to work. Rather than contradict each other, they aid in one’s recovery. With the application of these practices, along with the right team, men can, and do, recover.
WestBridge believes in meeting people where they are in their recovery, no matter what stage of change they are in. This includes those who may not yet recognize the severity of their illnesses. Our goal, and our proven strength, is to help men and their families work through and overcome these uncertainties to begin their treatment.
Coordinating Care with Families and Treatment Providers
We work closely with families, other treatment providers, facilities and detox centers to coordinate the best transition of care for your loved one. At times, to address specific health issues, men in our residential program may require an inpatient hospital stay. During this period, we continue to visit our participants and maintain contact with the team. This ensures a smooth transition back into residential care after more critical health issues have been stabilized.
Our Family Specialists both educate and support family members who have a male loved one with mental illness and substance use disorders one of our programs. We help family members to relinquish the role of crisis responder and regain the role of family member.
Our entire team of clinicians, medical providers, care managers, mentors and administrative staff are dedicated to helping the participants feel whole again and get their lives back.
