Running through Boston is the famous Charles River, which provides a magnificent showcase for the kind of life the area has to offer. The Charles is home to rowers, sailboats, birdlife, and its surrounding paths and open space are enjoyed by thousands of area residents that take advantage of the diversity of cultural life here. Boston and Cambridge have world-famous restaurants, concert halls, theaters, museums and public parks.

 

As one of the world's centers of academia, Cambridge and Boston offer unlimited opportunities for you or your family member's recovery. The area is the home of renowned clinics, hospitals and alternative practitioners. Some of our participants work closely with our colleagues at the Boston University Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Our Cambridge team educates psychiatry and other Harvard trainees. The team is deeply involved in all aspects of recovery opportunities in the area.

 

As for higher learning and lifestyle opportunities, there are six major universities and many more community colleges offering courses on any subject at any level located here. There are interesting jobs, from coffee shops to the biotechnology industry, to keep the most curious mind challenged. For those looking for outdoor recreation, there is snowboarding, skiing and hiking in neighboring New Hampshire, or swimming and sunbathing at any of our nearby public beaches.

 

Our location has easy access for visiting families: Logan Airport, and an excellent public transportation system, will enable you to conveniently get where you need to go.
