Individual Counseling
Individuals participate in individual counseling on a regular basis as is outlined in their personal achievement agenda. A variety of counseling techniques are utilized such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Relapse Prevention, Psychosocial Education and more. Each of these techniques is solution focused.
Participants work in collaboration with the therapist and draw from their current strengths and abilities in addition to creating new skills for themselves. All of the counseling strategies allow the clinician to use the participant’s goals and current thoughts about their mental health or substance use to move them forward in recovery.
