WestBridge provided a safe, comfortable, supportive environment in the early days of our son's sobriety. He said that he felt like he was on vacation. I think he meant physically, because of the comfortable living quarters and excellent meals, but mentally he was working very hard.

What's Happening

July 2010

  • WestBridge unveils new College Support Program called OnCOURSE. Check out the website at www.studentwellness.org. The OnCOURSE program is designed to help college students who experience problems with mental illness and substance use.

  • WestBridge hosted its 2nd annual Summer Networking Luncheon on June 2. Attended by 33 mental health and addiction treatment professionals, the luncheon featured guest speaker Nancy Dunleavy, who spoke about an evidence-based approach to building better business relationships.

  • At the 2010 NAMI National Convention, WestBridge hosted a welcome reception as a forum for collegial conversation with leaders in behavioral health.

  • Mary Woods, WestBridge CEO, will be a keynote speaker at this year’s National Conference on Addiction Disorders in Washington, D.C., September 8–11. She will be joined by WestBridge Medical Director Mark Green, MD, and WestBridge mentor David Fine as they present a workshop titled, “Town Hall Debate: Recovery vs. Sobriety.” Click here for the keynote speaker page.
