Psychiatrist (Full Time)

The full-time Psychiatrist at WestBridge provides direct care as a member of the multidisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team and Residential Treatment team.  The Psychiatrist works in conjunction with Program Directors to provide overall clinical leadership and responsibility for monitoring participant treatment, rehabilitation, and support services provided by the ACT and Residential Treatment teams.  The Psychiatrist also supports the clinical supervision, education, and training of other team members.  Our Psychiatrist works as a member of the medical team and regularly collaborates with other physicians in the organization and participates in our medical on-call rotation.  The Psychiatrist is expected to be able to effectively represent and communicate the WestBridge culture of being authentic, team-oriented, and participant-centered.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with nationally recognized leaders and researchers in the field of co-occurring disorders.

Requirements: Doctorate of Medicine, Board Certified in Psychiatry with experience in addiction treatment;  Licensed to practice medicine in the state of New Hampshire; Demonstrated knowledge, clinical skills, and experience providing treatment to persons with severe and persistent mental illness and substance abuse disorders; Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in the practice of community psychiatry, including adherence to philosophy and principles of the WestBridge recovery model; Demonstrated understanding of the Assertive Community Treatment model; ASAM/ABAM certified or eligible; ABPN board certified or eligible in addiction psychiatry.
