Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Manchester, NH (Full Time)

The full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner role is to provide community-based as well as RESIDENTIAL nursing care, collaborative psychopharmacology, and care management to individuals with dual diagnosis [psychiatry and addictions] and their families.

The Nurse Practitioner will be an active Member of the TEAM (residential and community), assist other prescribers in promoting and monitoring wellness and ensuring excellent care, and provide evidence-based therapies to our participants and families.  This full-time position involves participating in an on-call schedule with other members of the medical team.

WestBridge is a private non-profit dedicated to a new direction in the treatment of people with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.  WestBridge currently has a residential treatment component and two care management teams, in the Boston area and Manchester, NH.

REQUIREMENTS:
The applicant must have a NEW HAMPSHIRE license in good standing and be eligible for Massachusetts and Florida licensure.  Experience in community/visiting nursing, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), and/or medical/surgical nursing in addition to psychiatric nursing experience are a plus.  Transportation and valid driver’s license required.  Experience prescribing to people with co-occurring disorders is required. The ideal candidate will be a Nurse Practitioner with addictions certification/experience and is willing to work within a team.
