When you or someone you care about is experiencing symptoms of a mental illness and a substance use disorder, you want to know that the professionals you reach out to understand how to help you. At WestBridge, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality treatment and recovery options for individuals and families who experience co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders. We firmly believe that effective treatment programs address both disorders at the same time, by the same team.
Our locations in New Hampshire and Florida provide integrated dual diagnosis treatment in both residential and outpatient settings. The two locations allow families to choose a setting that best suits their needs, while still maintaining the integrity of treatment and services.
TWO DUAL DIAGNOSIS TREATMENT CENTERS WITH A SINGLE PURPOSE
At WestBridge, we specialize in helping individuals and families who are experiencing co-occurring disorders of mental illness and substance use disorder. Our two men’s residential treatment programs, The Commons in Manchester, NH and Coogler Hall in Brooksville, FL, offer safe, homelike environments and facilities that are designed to promote a sense of belonging and community. Both locations also offer access to educational and work opportunities, comprehensive healthcare services, and a variety of community-based activities.
Brooksville’s serene 10-acre campus is designed to help participants connect with their natural surroundings as well as with a lifestyle of healthy activities. The campus offers walking trails, a basketball/tennis court and swimming pool.
The Commons residential program in Manchester is located in a beautifully restored Victorian residence close to downtown amenities and eight higher education institutions.
In both New Hampshire and Florida we also offer outpatient treatment through our Care Management Teams. Care Management is based on a model of care called Assertive Community Treatment, in which team members all collaborate on every participant’s treatment, and much of the care is provided in a person’s home or in the community. Traditional therapeutic services are combined with side-by-side support to help participants apply new recovery and life skills, and form connections to other supports in the area such as self-help programs, employment, school and medical care.
WESTBRIDGE’S DUAL DIAGNOSIS TREATMENT CENTERS OFFER INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT PROGRAMS
There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to recovery from dual disorders. Each person is unique; therefore, at WestBridge we personalize each individual’s services to their particular strengths, needs, abilities and preferences. There is no specified length of stay in any WestBridge program. Treatment plans are designed and modified based on each individual’s progress and goals. While our residential programs follow a pre-determined schedule with group activities, individual needs are taken into account.
WestBridge treatment programs are staffed by inter-disciplinary teams with expertise in psychiatry, substance abuse counseling, social work, mental health counseling, wellness, nursing, vocational and educational support, along with recovery coaching. This combination of expertise and experience, paired with the participant and his family’s experience, helps us to be able to support a wide variety of personal achievements and to respond to complex challenges. Our goal is to facilitate healing and personal growth for each participant and family member we serve.
