Similar to our Care Management program in Manchester, NH, WestBridge offers community-based outpatient services for adult men and women in the Boston area from our office in Medford, MA.
Based on the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model, this outpatient program supports participants in managing their mental illnesses and additions so that they are able to be active and flourish in their community. Our Boston area team is flexible and responsive; multidisciplinary staff members are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week as a resource to WestBridge participants and their families. The ACT model has been demonstrated to be effective for individuals with persistent episodes of acute symptoms that are difficult to manage.
College Support: OnCOURSE Program
As a unique component of our Boston area services, WestBridge’s OnCOURSE Program provides current and prospective college students who are challenged by mental health and substance use issues with the support and treatment they need to stay in school. The program provides customized services to meet the each individual’s needs, which often include requiring additional support than they are currently offered on campus and being at risk of or having suspended participation in college due to symptoms of mental illness and/or substance abuse.
