Residential Dual Diagnosis Treatment Program
Our Florida residential treatment center for men with co-occurring mental illness and addiction, is located in Brooksville, just 45 minutes north of Tampa. This peaceful, 11-acre campus features a state-of-the art men’s residence with 20 beds. Reflecting WestBridge’s focus on wellness, our Brooksville program also features a swimming pool, yoga classes, tennis and basketball courts, and a fitness center. Coogler Hall is a tobacco-free campus.
Similar to our residential program at The Commons, participants at WestBridge Brooksville engage in individual, family, and group counseling, as well as self-help. The WestBridge team provides medication and vocational services, treatment intervention, support, and monitoring on-site 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The length of stay varies based on the individual. There is no maximum length of stay in any WestBridge program.
Dual Diagnosis Outpatient Services
In addition to our residential program, Brooksville offers community outpatient services.
Based on the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model, this outpatient program supports participants in managing their mental illnesses and addictions so that they are able to be active and flourish in their community. Our Brooksville team is flexible and responsive; multidisciplinary staff members are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week as a resource to WestBridge participants and their families. The ACT model has been demonstrated to be effective for individuals with persistent episodes of acute symptoms that are difficult to manage.
For over 10 years, our non-profit organization has been offering a high standard of clinical care and treatment for individuals and their families that experience co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorders in New England. We are proud to now bring WestBridge’s treatment services to the Florida community.
