Academy Overview
This academy will provide the principles of implementation of dual disorders treatment, and then identify principles of successful treatment derived from research on evidence-based practices. This academy will help your agency make dual disorders philosophy a part of all treatment, supervision, outcomes, medical records and data. WestBridge provides several academies a year.
Audience
Supervisors, program leaders and other middle managers from mental health centers that are interested in implementing Integrated Dual Disorders Treatment. Training of direct service personnel is part of the one-year follow-up program.
Implementation Strategies for Integrated Dual Disorders
At the conclusion of the IDDT Academy, you will be able to:
· Help your agency develop a Dual Disorders orientation.
· Learn how to develop the right leadership to transform agency services to a Dual Disorders philosophy and organizational structure.
· Use hands-on, case-based, active learning as the preferred method to implement change and develop skills.
· Institute the training and supervision required to provide a Dual Disorders program.
· Learn the basic skills and teaching strategies required for direct-care providers to implement Dual Disorders services.
· Establish a Dual Disorders group program.
Supervision and Consulting Services
We have developed a one-year program to assist in the implementation of IDDT at your agency. This program will be managed by one of our partners who has had extensive experience with running a successful IDDT service.
