WestBridge provided a safe, comfortable, supportive environment in the early days
of our son’s sobriety. He said that he felt like he was on vacation. I think he meant
physically, because of the comfortable living quarters and excellent meals, but
mentally he was working very hard.

The purpose of the show is to increase awareness about recovery from substance use disorders and mental illness and to decrease the stigma and increase awareness of the discrimination that exists for people with substance use disorders and mental illness. Our hope is that people will understand that recovery is a process and that there is treatment that is as effective as what is being used for other chronic illnesses.
