WestBridge provided a safe, comfortable, supportive environment in the early days of our son’s sobriety. He said that he felt like he was on vacation. I think he meant physically, because of the comfortable living quarters and excellent meals, but mentally he was working very hard.

Mentor - The purpose of this position is to assist the Participant to make healthy and supportive community connections which will support sobriety, sanity and overall health. The role of a Mentor is twofold: To establish a healthy, positive relationship which supports the Participants’ Continuing Care Plan (Wellness Plan); and to be able to discern and adhere to the difference between a helping relationship versus a friendship (The Mentor is working in a helping relationship).

Nurse - WestBridge is seeking a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or LPN to provide community-based nursing care and care management to individuals with dual diagnosis (psychiatry and addictions) and their families.  The nurse will be an active member of the team, assist the prescribers in promoting and monitoring wellness and ensuring excellent care, and provide evidence-based therapies to our participants and families.  The full-time (we will consider part-time) position involves working some evenings, weekends and participating in an on-call schedule for emergencies.  The applicant must have a Nursing license in good standing.  Experience in community/visiting nursing, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), and/or medical/surgical nursing in addition to psychiatric nursing experience are a plus.  Transportation and valid driver’s license required.
 
Overnight Mental Health Workers - These staff work  1:1 with men who experience problems with substance use and mental illness.  Staff provide overnight accompaniment to participants in their home.  Staff also provide assistance to program participants maximizing their recovery, ensure consumer-directed goal setting, assist the participant to gain hope and a sense of empowerment, and provide assistance in helping participants become respected and valued members of the community.    Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and/or experience working with individuals and their families with dual disorders.  Valid driver's license and transportation.  WestBridge offers excellent hourly pay, and exceptional ongoing professional opportunities.
