Co-occurring Mental Illness & Substance Use
At WestBridge, we provide support and treatment for individuals and their families that live with both mental illness and substance use issues. WestBridge utilizes Integrated Dual Disorders Treatment to address co-morbid disorders concurrently in order to maximize an individual’s recovery and wellness. Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment helps people recover by simultaneously offering mental health and substance use services in one setting. The same team of clinicians provides a personalized Achievement Agenda for both mental health and substance use problems. A wide variety of services are offered in a stage-based fashion. Whether our participants are staying at our men’s residential facility, The Commons, or in the Manchester, NH or Cambridge, MA communities, an integrated continuum of care is thoughtfully provided.
Examples of the extensive variety of services include, but are not limited to: education, case/care management, medication management, assistance with daily living tasks, assistance with housing, money management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), substance use counseling, Family Education and Support (FES), a variety of related Evidenced-Based interventions and other specialized counseling specifically designed for people with co-occurring disorders.
Services are offered in a positive and hopeful atmosphere where people are encouraged to believe that they can live a life of recovery, as many others do.
